"Shrink-wrapped baby doll toes, skillet-fried roaches, salvage yard showdowns:
MUÑE is a delightfully unhinged romp through rural Tennessee,
the likes of which you’ve never seen before.
Elizabeth De Razzo mesmerizes as the title character,
a headstrong Mexican woman who refuses to do as she’s told."

Muñe tells the story of a recent Mexican immigrant in rural Tennessee
who befriends a girl living in a junkyard.
The film utilizes looped video fragments, inspired by the work of Martin Arnold.
These loops reveal the artifice of the narrative
and introduce foreign rhythms into the Southern landscape.
