I took Danish language lessons almost every day between Aug 1 and 14, 2022 in Aarhus, Denmark, and visited tourist destinations with my infant son, who, by the way, had a camera attached to him. I read aloud plaques and informational texts to him— with my newly-acquired Danish. 

I asked Martin Bugge, who worked at the ARoS museum, if he would like to do a live presentation of this footage together, in the "i would die 2 u" show curated by Daniel Fishkin on August 11th at the ARoS PUBLIC auditorium.  

And he said yes, and so we did. It began like this:

CATALINA
Jeg er turist i Aarhus, Danmark. 
Min veninde lærte mig lidt dansk. 
Jeg besøgte mange steder i Aarhus. 

MARTIN
I live in Aarhus, Denmark
and I work at the ARoS Museum.
my friend, Catalina, has been teaching me
about American customs.

(But I will never be able to fully convey to you what transpired that evening.)
