I am often inspired by places, and I knew I wanted to create a video in this rusty rural wasteland of war vehicles, so close to where I grew up, and yet so foreign and new to me.
I had the idea of a battle and explored spaghetti western themes, combining them with tai chi inspired movements. I replaced traditional weapons with domestic objects, and created a scenario of squatters with strange gestures and ways of walking/ traveling through space, as well as fantastical powers.
